Indemnity Agreement

This Indemnity Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between the Greensboro Holistic Collective (“Collective”) and the undersigned participant, vendor, or volunteer (“Participant”) as of the date below.

  1. Purpose

This Agreement serves to indemnify and hold harmless the Collective, its organizers, officers, agents, and representatives from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Participant’s involvement in the Collective’s events, activities, or services.

  1. Acknowledgment of Risk

The Participant acknowledges that participation in events and activities hosted by the Collective involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or illness.
  • Property damage or loss.
  • Any other unforeseen risks associated with event participation.

The Participant voluntarily assumes all risks related to their participation.

  1. Hold Harmless Provision

The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Collective, its organizers, officers, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from or related to:

  • The Participant’s actions or omissions.
  • The Participant’s use of event space, equipment, or facilities.
  • Any claims or disputes arising from the Participant’s products, services, or activities at the event.
  1. Insurance

Vendors and practitioners are required to carry appropriate liability insurance. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to event participation.

  1. Compliance with Rules and Regulations

The Participant agrees to abide by all event rules, regulations, and local laws while participating in the Collective’s activities. Failure to do so may result in immediate removal from the event without refund or recourse.

  1. No Guarantees

The Collective does not guarantee attendance, sales, or any specific outcomes resulting from participation in its events.

  1. Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  1. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the subject matter and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.

 

By selecting a response on registration forms, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Hold Harmless Agreement.
