Hi, I am Cathy Pyatt, BA, CHP. I am a board-certified homeopath practicing classical homeopathy. I came to homeopathy over 20 years ago because my son is on the autism spectrum. The complexity of his disorder coupled with the barely incremental gains of biomedical and extensive interventions and therapy made me consider homeopathy. To that point, I knew little to nothing about the modality. This put me on a 20+ year, epic journey into a modality that is holistic and individualized in a way that I truly find to be elegant and powerful.
I have completed an ACHENA accredited program at Academy of Homeopathy Education of 500 didactic and 500 clinical hours. Shortly after graduation I was board certified by NAHE which requires accredited program completion to obtain certification. I feel that homeopathy education is not a “one and done.” Therefore, I am attending Dynamis Post Graduate Program headed by distinguished homeopaths, Jeremy Sherr and his wife Camilla.
My practice has tended toward complex cases, not by choice, but it does play to my interests that include detective entertainment since I was a child. My first memories were of loving Saturday morning glimpses into the world of Scooby-doo, later watching, reading, and loving, all sorts of mysteries. Sherlock Holmes inspired me to discern, deduct, and be a critical thinker. The devil is always in the details. I pride myself on being willing to listen carefully to really hear and understand what people are saying.
My practice deals mostly with chronic issues, but I also embrace acute consultations as needed. I have a range of clients from children to those of advanced age. I handle everything from female hormonal issues (including PCOS & menopause) skin issues (including psoriasis), joint pains, anxiety, depression, headaches, allergic constitutions, anemia, and more.
